DIRECTIONS AND SCRIPT for Advocacy Phone Calls

The re-registration of the Nassars’ land remains a pre-eminent issue and we are asking you to write, call, or meet with your congressional representatives during the October recess.  To find the DC office of your member of Congress by calling the Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121).

If you can speak with someone:

1. explain that you are a constituent and state your address
2. give the reason for your call (see script below)
3. Tell them you would like to be in touch with the staff member who advises the member on foreign policy issues, and ask for that person’s name and contact information.

If you cannot speak with a person, leave a message to include the following:

I am calling regarding the failure of the Civil Administration of the Israeli government to provide a decision to the Nassar family (Tent of Nations) on their 20-year long struggle to re-register their 100-acre farm located outside of Bethlehem in the West Bank as is required by Israeli Law.

I understand that legal proceedings before the Re-registration Committee of the Civil
Administration (which lasted for 5 years) ended in May 2025. There has been no decision forthcoming, nor any further communication with the family.

I am asking that you contact the US Department of State about case numbers 3714/2 and 3715/2 and ask them to seek responses to the following questions from appropriate Israeli authorities:

1. What is the current status of the land registration process, and what specific legal or administrative reasons have prevented the registration from being completed despite the conclusion of all related legal proceedings?

2. What is the expected timetable for a decision?

I would like to provide additional information to the person who is responsible for foreign policy issues.

Please send their name and contact information to me at (insert your email address, here), so I may do so.
