ADVOCACY EMAIL MESSAGE TEMPLATE

The re-registration of the Nassars’ land remains a pre-eminent issue and we are asking you to write, call, or meet with your congressional representatives during the October recess. If you choose to email your Congress person, and don’t have a contact in the DC office, we suggest you navigate to their website, and use the contact form there to send a message.

Here is a letter template:

Dear Senator/Congressman:

• Introduce yourself as a constituent
• State why the Tent of Nations is important to you

I am writing regarding the failure of the Civil Administration of the Israeli government to provide a decision to the Nassar family (Tent of Nations) on their 20-year long struggle to re-register their 100-acre farm located outside of Bethlehem in the West Bank as is required by Israeli Law.

I understand that legal proceedings before the Re-registration Committee of the Civil Administration (which lasted for 5 years) ended in May 2025. There has been no decision forthcoming, nor has any further communication been received by the family.

I request that you contact the US Department of State about case numbers 3714/2 and 3715/2 ask them to seek responses from the appropriate Israeli authorities to these questions:

• 1. What is the current status of the land registration process, and what specific legal oradministrative reasons have prevented the registration from being completed despitethe conclusion of all related legal proceedings?
• 2. What is the expected timetable for a decision?
