Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Easter Greetings from the Tent of Nations!
“As HE came near and saw Jerusalem, HE wept over it.” Jesus was sad to see the suffering of the people. Today the situation and especially in Jerusalem is not that different; the city is full of tension, hopelessness, and sadness. We still don’t “get” the message of justice and peace that HE brought to our world.
On the 2nd of May, we have the court hearing for the reregistration of the farm. This is supposed to be the last hearing; we hope that there will be no more delays. We will inform you immediately about the outcome of the hearing on the 2nd of May and let you know how you can help. Thank you so much for all your support and solidarity.
We are glad that international groups and volunteers started to visit the Tent of Nations again after two years of no visitors because of COVID-19. We are expecting more visitors and volunteers in the coming months. We hope the political situation won’t get worse.
Today, as we go through this difficult time, we should always remember that we are the people of hope; we are the people of the resurrection, the cross was not the end, it was the path to resurrection and into a new life. We need to stand up and never forget that we are the ‘salt of the earth’ and ‘the light of the world.’ This is the good news of the resurrection.
HE is not here for HE is risen! Happy Easter.
